Adtrans National Trucks, part of automotive giant AP Eagers has launched the most extensive online range of used trucks nationally, usedtrucks.com.au.
Adtrans National Trucks used truck divisions have merged to form Australia’s largest online used truck platform. This announcement comes six months after AP Eagers successfully acquired rival auto dealer Automotive Holdings Group Ltd (AHG) to become Australia’s largest automotive group.
As a result of this new move, Adtrans National Trucks has increased its total number of new and used truck dealerships in Australia to 24. The used truck divisions across all these dealerships have been rebranded as usedtrucks.com.au which equates to a strong physical presence with 12 walk-in sites across five states – Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland.
"Merging all our used truck divisions across all the dealerships into one website megastore made sense for the business," usedtrucks.com.au general manager Mick Anic says.
With decades of experience driving and selling trucks, Mick is well known and respected in the transport industry. After 28 years as an owner driver and fleet operator, Mick moved into the retail truck business joining Adtrans Used Trucks. After heading the business division for years, Mick now leads the usedtrucks.com.au network throughout Australia.
"The merger will also benefit our customers because whether you buy a truck from Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane or Perth we have our customers covered everywhere nationwide."
usedtrucks.com.au Laverton and Dandenong manager Nigel Schofield says the main reason behind the rebranding was to give the divisions a single name that everyone can relate to. "It also gives our new and existing customers the benefit to access spare parts and our workshops nationwide."
Nigel has a strong passion for selling trucks, gathered over two decades of work in this industry. Having started working with trucks in 1998 as a service adviser, he moved into sales before joining Adtrans Used Trucks’ Victorian operations. With the launch of usedtrucks.com.au, Nigel will continue to lead the team of sales specialists across the used trucks Group.
Following the success of Adtrans Used Trucks, usedtrucks.com.au offers one of the largest selections of quality pre-owned trucks in the country. With over 600 trucks available across the physical and online stores, customers have the ability to search through hundreds of makes and models with trucks to suit all needs and budgets.
